    GOP and Public Land
This is just my opinion and I will keep it short....
What is the big deal if the GOP supposedly wants to take away public land if the other party wants to take away your ability to hunt that public land ?? I don't want either to happen myself....Guess what...I would rather lose some public land than lose the right to hunt or purchase weapons and ammo....Just my .02

    Agreed
Don't get me wrong I don't like politics at all and I think both sides are full of crooks I know the democrats trying to take away weapons because they're scared of guns and violence isn't as bad as the gop trying to sale public land. I know a lot of people including myself value game lands and such. Government controlling gun sales is bad and scary but I think selling public land for money is just CRAZY and more greedy then anything else. I just wish politicians valued the wild.

    Land
BSB, I started not even to comment on this since a similar discussion came up not long ago but my friend as I told fellow poster 'Hersh'...This is already happening around here...Some (Not All) public land is public so the state has to deal with all the nonsense of trespassing and so on and the 'OWNER' gets Tax credit for donating the land to the state...It could be the 'Owner' lives in another state or just doesn't want to be bothered with it. I know of 1 such tract that was a decent place to hunt and it was public until the Guy passed away and then his Children had it cleared for the money and then it was sold!! So it's public no more...I heard a few Doctors bought it then a few lawyers that hunt so I dunno but yes it's Sad and your correct..Just GREED!!! But like I often say...Hunting will be a rich mans game in the future and what really bothers me is all the housing going up each time a tract gets sold and cleared off...Pushing wildlife into tight corners because all the land we have is all we have..I mean, There's not a manufacturing place down the road making land lol...That's why land NEVER goes down in price only higher and higher because whats here is all there is!!!! Good Luck
