Hey guys, I say I'm from Rowan in the title which is where I reside now. I grew up in Gaston, then moved to Greenville SC then out to Rowan and now I live in Rowan where we will retire in oh 35 years or so. We have one more move left to Lake Norman in a few years. Lake during the summer and hunting on our land in the winter. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Now about my hunting. I've only been hunting for 3 seasons and I only bow hunt. I don't fish much at this point in my life but, when we move to the lake, I'll likely bowfish and get back at the bass.

As for forums I am an active member of Bowhunting.com (which is where I heard of this one) ArcheryTalk and Bowfreakz.com so I'm not new to forums at all.

I look forward to being on this site.

There is some good turkey hunting in this area. I love me some run and gun, well bow hunting some turkeys. Never killed one but, have been really close. Anything else I kill will be with a bow though.

That is funny man...I am full of some useless info and a little bit of useful info lol....

Yeah, I have had more success with spot n stalk than sitting still with turkeys....I enjoy coaxing them into the decoys but it is definitely harder than they make it out to be on tv...The one tom I did shoot with my bow I was extremely proud of. I somehow made a good shot despite the intense shaking and recorded the whole thing solo...I shot the bird at 7 or 11 yards I cannot remember but He might as well have been 40 yards lol....

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you can act as another pair of eyes out there to help us all watch the deer movement. Good luck with the bow hunting as it is my favorite season of the year!
