    Sorry for the poor video quality. I recorded this big cat catch on my phone and forgot to turn the phone. Either way this is one of 4 we caught about this size in the river on High Rock today, in about 3 hours time. We used live Shad to catch these. All were released.

    Cool Deal Brad, High Rock is Full of Flatheads this size and some Bigger...My neck is stiff now LOL..Just Kidding...My biggest on Rod and reel is 54lbs from High Rock on a Perch...You don't happen to know what the Water temp was at this time do ya? You say up river, Isn't this close to the Boat&Ski Club? I tell ya Buddy...Your 1st Mate there is pretty intelligent it seems, I Fish with a few adults that are Not as mature as he is LOL...Great Job and Be Looking for me on the Water!!

    Thanks! I appreciate it. I forgot my scale but I was guessing around 20 or so. The water temp today was 69. We were actually right at the mouth of Potts creek on the bottom in 12 ft of water. My fishing partner is pretty knowledgeable. He's usually always with me. Hopefully I can get some better footage.

    Brad, heres a Cell phone picture of a typical Night at a friends pier I frequent with gas being so High..Like you, We release all of them.

    so the flathead bite is on, looks like im gunna have to go back down to crabtree creek finally get this monster thats broken me off numerous times. the dang think has to be 50 or 60 pounds.
