DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME......setting up your range like I did.

This post is for Bearice.....practice long to be more proficent at 30 yards. I know your new bow will out shoot mine.

It's amazing how shooting long will teach you to be dead steady at 30 yards. The same goes for rifle shooting!

    Bow Master
Thats some good shooting man! For a minute I thought it was gonna be a trick like you hit a car and it blows up or something. lol. My buddy has on app on his mp3 player or whatever it is that you can make things blow up or start shooting machine guns at somebody or a plane crashes right in front of you. It looks very real and is funny.

    Good shooting!!

    Thanks All!
Thanks for the nice comments but I'm no bow master. The funny thing is over a two year period I started backing up a little at a time 40, 50 then 60. Each time shooting those distances until I was hitting 6 inch groups 90% of the time. Last year I had just moved to 80 yards and was getting pretty good when Inferno4me from this site....my bow guy....challenged me to shoot 100 yards. That was the infamous balloon break at 100 yards video. Well when I came back to 80 yards I was 90%.

I love bows and the challenge of them. I still feel anyone out there can do this with patience and perfect practice. Key thing is shoot 6 to 10 arrows and go hang your bow up for a couple of hours. Sometimes shooting too much just makes you a worse shooter. Method of draw and using the right muscle group is key to be steady....I know you've heard this....'form is everything'! Not to mention a properly tuned and set up bow. Whisker Biscuits won't get you to 100 yards with consistency! Try a drop-away! At the time of release the only thing that should be touching the arrow is the string!
