Anyone up for a hog hunt without the hogs? That is exactlly what it felt like when we went on a hog hunt with Cherokee Run Outfitters at the beginning of the month. 8 hunters two days and no hogs to be seen at all. Cherokee Run Outfitters is a joke and should not be used by anyone. The guides are lazy and inexperienced. They do not seem to know there properties very well and stuck 8 hunters on 40-50 acres of a so called 350 acre tract with rifles. After the first day of not seeing any hogs and questioning them about the property. which they baited while we came back from the mornings hunt. They finally agreed to let us try another two properties the next morning. Yet again no hogs. On the afternoon hunt of the first day we had 47 shots fired on the property next to where we were hunting had someone run dogs within 200-300 yards of us which we could see without binos. Great property guys.. When we would ask the two guides the same question you would get two very different answers to the same question. Not good in my book. Sorry for the sob story just want to try and save someone else from being lied too and having there money taken by a dishonest outfitter.. All $3600.

    very accurate assessment indeed
You are exactly right this place is as sorry as any ive ever known.Used to be decent but when the honest folks got tired of being told to rip people off so much they couldnt sleep at night they left. Bad part is the owner , Tom knows what goes on . I really hope word gets out more and more everyday this outfit is the perfect example of what every hunter fears when you book a hunt and give up your hard earned money. A plain scam artist rip off.

    thumbs down cherokee run!
Me and some friends of mine went to cherokee run for 3 days on a hog/deer combo hunt. What a joke! We all hunted within 200 yards in a circular area from eachother. Hunted with guys that wasn't in our party and it was you go here you here and you here. Nobody seen anything except empty corn feeders going off. The owner showed up to get his money but at the end he could not be contacted. Wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Nobody should ever use cherokee run. Go game management cheaper and better chance of success!
