Which broadhead do you guys think is better between the (NAP) New Archery Prouducts Thunderhead or the G5 Striker? Tell me what all you guys and ladies are using if not neither one of those?

Well Hello, Long Time-No Post, How you been? Going to Classic again this year? I myself have tried all the New 'Craze' and always seem to go back to the Muzzy's and The new MX 3s are a awesome head but the 2 You mentioned are as well....Thunderheads have a reputation that speaks for themselves and G5 Is Great also..More Familiar with the 'Montec' than the 'Striker' but I'm sure the striker is a Awesome Head Also..The reviews on NAPs 'HellRazor' are Great as well....How was your season?

i switched to shwackers last year
shwacker broadheads are my choice. if you have a bow that will sling enough fps they are unbeatable. i switched to them 2 years ago and i dont see myself switching back.

G5 striker are the best flying fixed heads I've ever shot. As far as durable...they're not. They are pretty much a one shot broad head even with the replaceable blades but the shaft is aluminum and gets bent real easy. I stick with the G5 Montec....no pun intended!

Well I have only used the Strikers and they worked really well. I have an Uncle that has used Thunderheads for years and never had a problem. The cost of the NAP's are definitely better...You can get 6 for $39.99 vs. 3 G5's for $39.99. I have also used Slick Trick Grizz Trick's which I loved for the great blood trails but it whistled during flight. I have used the Rage two blade and I liked it except for the o-rings that keeps the blades in place. They are not very stable imo...but I really never had a problem with them. I used the Trophy Ridge Undertaker and had no major qualms with them other than the blood trails. The last 3 years I have been stuck on Red Head Gators(Formerly Rocky Mountain Head). They are $30 for a 3 pack, extremely tough, sharp, and fly right with my field points. The open from the back so if you do not get a pass through you will still have a 2' entry hole. I have shot a lot of animals the past 3 years with them and not one animal(Mostly Deer) has gone more than 75 yards. Most fall within 50 yards....I also shot through a bear's shoulders and through the shoulder of a deer this past season..and the broad head came out unscathed. Even the razor tip still hap a point....Great broadhead for the $$ IMO..
