  • Second Day?

Well it's the second day of bow season and seeing how we only have one kill posted, I'm hitting the tree this afternoon. I told the wife don't tell anyone I've gone. I don't want anything to disrupt this hunt. Heck I'll probably just get a lot of sleep on the tree at 20 feet!
Heck I didn't even have time to sleep yesterday!LOL!

    I owe I owe...
Yea well I'm working today so no hunting here. Hope you get to stick one this afternoon. What do you think about tomorrow evening? And off all day Tuesday, what do you think about it? Looks like Monday evening they might move a little earlier and a stronger move. Then Tuesday morning looks like the move will be during daylight and strong then too?

    Good Morning
The minor move in the morning is getting into shooting hours. The afternoon minor is getting closer to dark, so good morning and afternoon hunts this week. Best movement will be mid day but, you need that perfect set up near bedding areas which isn't (In my Book) smart! Just be patient and the closer to the end of the week and more so....the end of the month things will heat up!

    So far
I sat this morning and mid day and didn't see a thing...plan on heading back out around 5:30 to sit again this evening. Yesterday morning went to one of my stands and sat and didn't see a thing so I checked the camera at my other stand on the way in and guess where all the deer were?? So I went to that stand the evening and saw 4 shooter Doe and a lonely Fawn...I was drawn on the lead Doe when to more popped out of the thicket and wouldn't let me position myself for a shot...Thats bow hunting for ya!! Good luck everyone!
