    I know this is not the classifieds but I know everyone will see it here. I have a Mathews Conquest2 I am going to sell Just because I'm gonna buy a new bow with more poundage so I get a longer shot , thinking of going pronghorn hunting an need more distance. Its a 50-60lb draw weight an 28' draw. Has a new drop away rest an truglo sight. Also have a bunch of arrows I'll let go with it. Its smooth shooting no recoil at all an very accurate out to 40 yards. Dont want an arm an a leg just $300 with all accesories an hard case. Will take pics if anyones interested, wanted to offer it on here before putting it on craigslist. Reply to me on here or email me at davisleeburroughs@gmail.com , Be great for a beginner or teenage hunter or woman

    I have been trying to sell mine for awhile I also have a Mathews its a legacy just hard to find someone that shoots my exact draw and stuff. But If you are like me I have been looking at different brands and for me Bowtech and Mathews are really standing out to me. Bowtech has a new bow thats coming out called the flagship bow which is suppose to have the center pivot design but be like the destroyer and if that is true it will be a BEAST! Mathews has the Z7 which is very smooth. I have shot the destroyer and z7 and both are really nice but also have a nice price tag! lol Have you picked out your next bow? Im not bashing any other brand they are just the 2 brands that have stuck out to me. I have also heard good things about bear and Hoyt. I owned a Hoyt once it was a nice bow i just havent checked into any of there new stuff.

    BOWTECH AAA+++
    When the time comes I'll stay with BOWTECH because i have Hats and Hoodies and T-shirts LOL....But they make a great bow. I used to shoot a Mathews Z Light for years until i switched to Bowtech because Mathews Customer service sucks and Bowtech is alot like Parker and they will get you back in the field Quick...I lost 3 weeks of Archery season waiting on cables 1 year with Mathews and Thats when i switched...I had a Bowtech TomKat First but someone stoled it from me so i bought the Tribute and LOVE it. Its a 60lb bow because i used to play football and my bones ache in cooler weather but it still out shoots the Mathews i had that i shot on 67lbs and Its a whole lot Quieter and smoother. Thats a awesome deal you have for $300 though...And cant speak for the Z7 but i have shot a Destroyer and...Man...Its SWEEEET...I wanted a Guardian but the money wasn't there at the time so i got the Tribute Off of Ebay at a Great deal NEW IN BOX.

    Bowtech All-the-way
    I have a Bowtech Admiral and I love it I also have a Parker and my wife got her first bow a Parker this past year. But I am getting rid of the Admiral b/c I plan on having shoulder surgery soon and I already have my orders from the Doc. about trying to pull back a bow. The service they offer is quick and good but 68lbs will be about 38lbs more than I will be able to pull back in about 6 months.

    I shoot Hoyt but Hoyt isn't keeping up with the numbers game.....just the price! Check out High Country. They have a carbon bow with laminated limbs.....pretty sweet! Not cheap but, less then hoyt and Mathews!......and it shoots 336 out of the box!

    The draw length is set at 27 1/2 but it goes from 25-30 I think...I am looking at getting $750 for the bow with everything on it and a quiver and 9 goldtip arrows

    A close friend of mine bought a Bear Attack last year and he loves it. He got it in all Black and it looks mean!! But he shoots 70lb draw and 30in Draw with a 350gr arrow and hes getting 325fps which is pretty good and its accurate! Its really quiet when he shoots but he says there is some vibration to it but says the stabilizer took care of alot of it but overall hes been really impressed with it. And he was shooting a Hoyt Katera and says he likes this one way better.

    whats youre buddies draw length? gotta be 30 plus inches to get that many fps.. I would think so anyways. I'm looking into trying one tho, it's between the Bear an a Bowtech.. I've had hoyt had a katera xl an just couldnt get comfortable with that bow an the matthews I have would be perfect if it wasnt only a 60lb bow. But I got a deal on it at $300 an thats all I'm asking for it as well.

    30in
    30 in draw. with a loop He had it shot through a chrono when he got it and all setup all shots were around 320 and 325 being the best at 70lbs. but when he back it down to 60lbs he said it dropped down to 298 was the best he got out of it. But yeah thats smoking fast! but like all other compaines they claim 340 IBO with 70lb and 30 in. draw but its never as fast as they claim but still moving. I dont know what he gets now out of it since its been broke in but its a mean looking bow! The Bowtech destroyer has an IBO of 350 and I have heard of people getting up to 340 fps with 350 grain arrow but most people in a hunting situation would use a 400 grain arrow so you would still be getting around 315 to 320 I would think. And with the bear with a 400 gr. arrow still should be 300 or faster

    GT I have about $1200.00 tied up in the bow. But I know I can't use it next year so I figured I'd sell it so someone could get some use out of it.

    Sharkbait/Rockhunt/Sportsman247 Bows would be hard to sell this time of year because everyones waiting to see 'Whats New' but i bet if you guys placed them on Ebay around August that they would bring your asking price easy...Just a thought. You should try Craigslist and The NCSmag Classifieds anyway since its Free and Tax time is among us....You never know...It's the Left hand bows like i shoot that are hard to sell LOL....Good Luck Guys

    Yeah man that would be awesome. From the looks of your pics. Im sure I could learn a thing or two!lol Have you ever done any Catfish tournaments or been to a pay pond where you win money? They can be alot of fun. They have a tournament up here at lake reidsville where you fish all night but I havent ever heard of any Monsters coming out of it. I 've done the pay pond tournaments and there fun when you go with friends and just hang out and fish all day. But yeah we should get up and do some fishing in the next few months!

    Yeah Alot of Fun
    Yeah we have what we call 'WildCat' Tournaments and i have won 2...The local boys just get together and place money ($20 a boat) with 100% payback...Its alot of Fun but mostly bragging rights lol...Once i won $180 and once it was $220. I went to a paid pond with some friends a few times (think it was in Wallburg?) because they couldn't figure the fish out, well as soon as i got there i noticed everyone was throwing their rigs as far as they could so at dark i tossed mine about 5 foot out and we won that night and the next weekend also then some of the regulars got to mouthing lol so i quit going but my friends have won 4 times since then by fishing right on the bank. Alot of people take them ponds serious LOL. Have you ever tried Noodling? Where you reach under ol concrete boat ramps and grab them?...Its alot of fun also and we catch some huge ones like that as well when they are spawning.

    I've seen videos online but have never tried it. I wouldn't even know where to begin with that seems like it would be fun. Yeah we fish at one in Walnut Cove and I 've won a couple hourly pots but never nightly I can't figure the pond out but its still fun.
