What's better than gathering with a group of other outdoorsmen, eating some BBQ, shrimp, seared tuna, and fried catfish? How about doing all that, plus participating in auctions and raffles for prizes that include oyster steamers, Yeti Coolers, Shimano fishing equipment, fishing artwork, hog hunts, and other outdoors-related items--sound good?

That's what took place last Thursday night at the Lexington Municipal Conference Center during the CCA Banquet, hosted by the Lexington Chapter of CCA South Carolina.

The food was all served buffet style, and was catered by the Charleston Bay Gourmet. An open bar accompanied the food, and the room was filled with the raffle items and auction items. One of the best auction teams in the business stole the show towards the end of the evening as a bidding war erupted over the handmade oyster table, and the German Shorthair Pointer bidding was exciting as well.

Man that tuna looks really tasty. See any good prints on the auction?
    Good prints
I saw two prints I really liked. Purchased a redfish one in the live auction, lost out in a bidding war on the other one, a seatrout print.
