When you care to sent the very best.....send Winchester Ballistic Silvertip. My favorite sleeping pill is the 130 grain, 270 Winchester Short Magnum.

    What is everyone else's favorite?

    Have a safe, great week-end!

For my 270 that is the bullet all day long, but recently I started Shooting a T/C pro hunter with a .243 barrel with a 95 grain accubond. I was skeptical about it until I shot a nice buck about 2 years ago, but the 95 grain dropped him instantly.

I have to say my 6.5x55 mm rifle is my favorite. I love the bullet size and shape. And to make it better it was a gift from my grandfather. I absolutely love that gun!

Well I have two choices I use in southeastern North Carolina still hunting, first .270 Hornady 140 grain SST and .308 Hornady 150 grain BTSP.
Both rounds are great...the .270 SST is flat and very accurate out of my Browning A-Bolts. The .308 BTSP is a knock out at 200-300 yards, just a big punch! My longest shots around here are usually about 350 yards. As for shotguns...I shot 3' Winchester 00 Buck loads using a Stoger 2000 and a Browning BPS...they get the job done for me running dogs!

    270
Well it depends on location, In open field I have a Winchester Model 70 in the 270 Caliber shoots a 130 gr Corelokt. In the woods I have A Remington 7400 semi automatic 270 it shoots the 150gr Corelokt. I love the trajectory of a 270 it shoots really flat and in the woods a 150gr Corelokt is hard to beat when dealing with Limbs. I use to shoot Ballistic tips in open area and they are really nice but for the Money I have done just as much damage with the Corelokt at about $20 cheaper per box so I choose the Corelokt. Love to get my hands on a 270 WSM

I've been going to them since about 1990 and they've been great to me and my wife. I've purchased 4 bows from them over that time, some have not been the cheapest but the service and response time has always been the best.

BRYAN73...Yeah i bought my first new bow from them years ago...It was a Darton Viper...Kinda pushy on the sales part but i'm usually satisfied when i leave there. I do most of my own troubleshooting on my bow now myself. I'm shooting a Bowtech Tribute and its by far the best bow i have ever had and i have had 2 Mathews...Got it off of Ebay because i couldn't deal with the girls lol but Hey i saved $140 from what they wanted for the same bow....We better take this to the archery forum before Viper hits us with 1 of those sleeping pills lol....Hope to meet ya sometime...I have meet Viper and Creek07 and badeye1 from this site a 3 super Great Guys...Come to think of it...I have took 2 does with my bow and they both came from users of this site....C Ya

    Rounds!
I used to shoot a Remington 7400 243 cal. using Federal Balistic tips. About 5 yrs. ago I ran out of my Federal's and bought a box of Core-Lokt's, what a mistake!!! Shot the biggest deer I had ever seen estimating a 120-130 class deer and he got up and walked away, after tracking lots of blood for three hrs. lost him in water in the swamp. The next day I went and bought me a 7mm mag. Best move I ever made. I know shoot bullets from Georgia Arms company 140 grain balistics, they are the cheapest place I've found to buy bullets. They have a website: georgia-arms.com, check it out!

GobblinTom, Thanks that buck would have been nice but his left side had some issues. I saw him one year before and he was basically the same on left side and his right side was smaller thought he had some potential. The next year his right side jumped up a little bit but his left side was still not growing.. so he had to go. But anyways Catfishing.. Love it all! From Channels to big Blues or Flatheads love it all. And your right High Rock has some monsters. I havent personally got down there yet but friends of mine have and they have caught some monsters! Plus thats a nice flathead you got in your pic. Bet he was fun getting in.lol

I shoot a 308 Remington 700 with a custom 24.5 inch barrel after-market triger when I am watching a feild or gonna be reaching out to touch something. I spent sometime in 2003 at Ft. Benning learning how to shoot a Remington 700 in 308 and for the one I shoot now I use custom loads with 168grain hornady sst bullets. But most of time I use my Rem. 700 in 7mm with 150grain cor-loks it shoots 2 inches high at 100yards and is dead on at 200 yards and is perfect for just about anything you can hunt.
