out this a.m. to afternoon, started around slack tide into falling and oh yes we found them

    2 anglers, gulp shrimp

landed about 17 reds, only 2 were slot (oh yeah that is all we needed!) other than those every one was between 15 and 17.5

now we did lose 3 large ones trying to horse away from pilings 1 piling cut off and two straightened the hook, these would have been in or over slot (we could see them)

the one in the picture is 24'

    blackened redfish tonight!

    keep the lines tight!

Look for commercial gear/line combo charters soon!!

Love me some red fish and fishing for them. You just had to throw in the part about blackened red fish and my stomach started growling. Nice job!

Nice Fish, I know you had fun. My favorite way of cooking reds is to remove the side, scales and all and cook them on the grill in the scales. Once cooked they scoop right out of the sking and scales. I usually rub them down with Cackalacky Rub, which adds all the neccessary seasonings.
