Checked out a new area yesterday and jumped 10 deer on my way in. Hung the climber tonight and also the camera. Maybe something will drop on Weds when I return to hunt. Not a big fan of hanging stands this late in the season, but I needed a change.

    Watch the Wind
Be sure to check your local weather forcast and make sure the wind is right for your new location. If it the right wind make sure you get in early and good luck. I hope you smoke a big'un. My first was a doe but, I'm seeing a lot of first time kills being bucks. Smoke'em.

    Weds
Thanks guys!! Looking forward to Weds night hunt. Nice this about this location is that I can see whats around for rifle if I get a chance to hunt due to work. Come Nov 8th I'm pretty much shut down. Thanks again and hopefully I can post a doe kill tomorrow night.

Hey Gt. Had to work Sat morning and the only thing I saw was 4 does and a basket 6 or 8 right at dark, just as Vipers lunar charts predicted. This is the first time this year I saw a buck with does. Maybe the rut will be soon.

Hey Gt, Carried the 300 yesterday. Not sure if I'll go back to the bow or not. I am realizing bow hunting is far more of a challenge than rifle. Last week I pulled on two does at dark and couldn't find them in my pins and than on Thursday night they were coming in again and the stinking fedder went off and spooked them.
