  • Looking for Rice and Soy Bean Bran...

I have been looking for Rice Bran and Soy Bean Bran for over a year now. Does anyone have a line on where I can travel/purchase in bulk. I have not seen it anywhere in the southeast. I have noticed it is sold in mostly small amounts of 50lbs to 100lbs bags. Looking for raw product, possibly from a mill of large feed distributor. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
    Chris

Yes. Thanks for the info. I have seen the product he has. I was attempting to find more 'bulk'. I thought it maybe cheaper. I would like to get 2 or 4 55gal. barrels full of Rice Bran and/or Soy Bean Bran. This stuff is hard to find. Grain mills in southeastern NC must not produce this type of product?

    Really Work?
Is this stuff really that good? I have mentioned it to a few co-workers and they say that if it gets damp that it will mold...Or are you using it in a feeder?

I have had luck with it. I am lucky because I have deer about 50 ft from my dinning room window. I am just using the bran to feed them. I do not hunt from the house, but it makes for interesting evenings. I just put corn out a week ago and have seen 13 different deer. My backyard is sort of like a deer food laboratory. Just fun to see what they like, don't like and times, moon phase, etc... they move and feed. I drive about 45 min to hunt. These guys in the backyard are more like wild animal pets. LOL...

    Cool Deal
I have always told my wife if I had deer in the backyard like her sister in the mountains, I would treat them like pets and try get where I could hand feed them. I know they love sweet potatoes after they have softened up a bit.
