I have had the same thing happen to me, My biggest problem is when i do go its with another person and i do all the work and they shoot but this year i,m going solo a few times even if i have to hunt game land but it dont really bother me as long as i,m out there...I live in Lexington, where you at? I know where some birds are on Tuckertown game land if you dont do any good maybe we can hunt together down there? I go in by boat and usally after the first week its good hunting

i live on the hoke/scotland county border.its a small town called wagram.we are starting to get the birds moving in here.i know it will take a few years but we do see a few to hunt.we are very selective on what we 'TRY' to take though.

2 Saturdays ago i went scouting in Franklin County in the morning and heard 6 different gobblers. I didn't want to ruin the area so i got out of there. I live out in Colorado but will be back in two weeks to take a big eastern hopefully. I will also be trying to get a merriem this weekend. Good luck to all yall this weekend.
