19-pound gobbler dropped dead at 27 yards

Rosalyn Ballam of Charleston, S.C. bagged a 19-pound gobbler on Saturday March 26, 2022 while hunting with her brother in Charleston County.

Ballam’s turkey sported a 10 1/2-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. She shot the bird with a Benelli M2 20-gauge from 27 yards away. Her brother called the turkey in from the end of the field they were set up in.
