Hunter’s first buck was a nice 8-point
My name is Angie, I’m 35 years old, and this is my very first buck.
I started deer hunting just last year, but I had to end the season with all my tags still in hand. Since then, I’ve been so grateful for the people who took the time to teach me and guide me along the way.
Coming into the 2025 season, I knew I was ready. Deep down, I felt like this would be my year — and God made it happen, right when I least expected it. When that buck stepped out, my whole body was shaking with excitement. The moment he turned just right, I knew it was time. I pulled the trigger, and words can’t even describe what I felt. My heart was racing, my hands were sweating, and all I could do was thank God for the moment.
Now that I’ve got my first buck, I’m already looking forward to the bigger one!
