11-point monster buck weighed 227 pounds
Miranda Allen of Gilbert, S.C. killed a giant buck on Nov. 4 in Lexington County. The 11-point monster buck weighed 227 pounds and she killed it less than a mile from her house.
Aside from the usual aspects of killing trophy deer that makes the hunt special, this hunt is even more special because the emotion and passion for the hunt is captured in the attached video. Some of the video is of her finding the buck, which ran a short distance after she shot it. The rest of the video is her telling the story of the hunt.
It’s easy to see in the video how excited Allen is to have killed such a great deer. And her dad, husband, and kids share in the moment. It’s another great video from Carolina Crazy Outdoors, and shows what hunting is truly all about!
Congratulations to Allen, who is now entered in our Bag-A-Buck contest, making her eligible for a number of great prizes. That includes the grand prize, a two-day, two-man hunt at Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge. Click here to view the Bag-A-Buck gallery or to enter the contest yourself.
