Big Nine point

It was November 27th of this year and I just got into the stand this morning to sit. After a few hours I got down around ten that morning and went to check the camera. While checking the camera I saw the nine point I’ve wanted to kill all season on the pile as I was coming in and he ran off, I was so mad but thought maybe this evening he will come back. So that evening I came back to the stand to sit, around 5:30 pm I heard something on my right shoot lane and looked but it had been the two point that has been coming in lately. So with time slipping by I figured the nine point wasn’t coming but then on my front shoot lane I hear steps in water, I look and without even looking through the binoculars I could see the rack and said to myself “there’s my deer”!! He made his way to the corn pile and I put the cross hairs on him, the fact the sun had already set it was hard to see through the scope but I pulled the trigger and a shot rang out scaring the two point into the woods. After a few minutes I got down and saw little blood in the water and prayed that it was a kill shot. I looked for more blood but couldn’t find any. I then heard a some movement to my left and went to go look and started seeing more blood again, I followed the blood trail to my grand prize the nine point. The buck was killed in Calhoun county and was my first nine point ever, so I was like a kid in a candy store!!
