I was in my Stokes County, N.C. stand on Nov. 20, 2020 and had been watching does since 6:30 a.m. At 7:50 I looked up and saw antlers through the trees. The deer would not come in to my bait pile. It went down the ridge and I made the shot down the hill across a creek, and when the smoked cleared, I was hoping I got him. I got down and found him about 20 yards from where I shot.
