The second round of SouthCarolinaSportsman.com's monthly Bass Photo Contest voting session is set to run from June 7 to June 9. Winners will be determined by our site users, who will choose from a selection of photos entered during May.

Anyone can take part in the voting! After entries are voted on by our users, the monthly winner will receive a free one-year subsciption to South Carolina Sportsman and a $25 gift coupon to the Outdoor Store good for all manner of Official Sportsman Gear.

The finalists are:

* Alex Hewitt of Chester County, known as "teighter" on the website forums, caught these two bass on topwater lures in a pond. The fish were caught on May 1 and weighed 4.5-pounds and 5 pounds respectively.

* Justin McLennan of Darlington County, known as 'jxmclennan' on the website forums, caught this nice bass on a Rage Tail shad early one morning on a farm pond. The lunker bass weighed seven pounds, two ounces.

* Jason Becton of Union County, known as 'troutbumjb' on the website foums, caught this bruiser of a bass on light spinning tackle in a pond in Lockhart. It's his first-ever wallhanger bass and he can't wait to catch more like this one!

* Mark Shelton of Berkeley County, known as 'brddog81' on the website forums, caught this 5-pound, 8-ounce bass in Goose Creek Reservoir on May 22. He reports having lots of fun that day, and that this fish is a 'Nice Un.'

Only registered users of SouthCarolinaSportsman.com are eligible to win these contests. Anyone can enter their photos on the contest gallery, but only registered users will be selected by the Sportsman staff to compete in the voting.
