Since its introduction about 10 years ago, MirrOlure’s 17MR suspending twitch bait has been a hit with anglers.

The 808 color (black back/silver sides/orange belly) was already a notorious speck pleaser, and combined with a neutral-buoyancy body, it’s a staple among trout fishermen.

The angler casts the lure and allows it to sink, counting down until it is at an appropriate depth. He then reels it a turn of the handle or two, twitches it and allows it to stop. Trout can’t resist the temptation and usually strike the lure when it is motionless.
