Weights were generally lower on Friday’s second day of the FLW Tour event on Lake Hartwell, but that didn’t hurt Casey Ashley of Donalds, who added a 5-fish limit that weighed 15 pounds, 13 ounces, to his leading first-day total to grab a lead of almost three pounds at the halfway point.
Ashley is at 37 pounds, four ounces, for two days on the 50,000-acre Savannah River impoundment along the South Carolina-Georgia border.
