Brian Morros wowed the crowd gathered on June 1 at Toler's Cove Marina in Mt. Pleasant with a 53.6-pound dolphin he brought to the scales at the Fifty-Fifty Tournament. Morros' big bull easily eclipsed all others entered in the tournament and earned the top dolphin spot for the crew of the Wildlife.

The second and third place dolphin were nice fish also, but were overshadowed by the size of Morros' big boy. Bob McClam caught a 33.4-pound dolphin on the Mister Pete to earn second place. The crew from Palmetto Boat Sales finished  third place with a 29.2-pounder.

Jeff Scott and the crew of the Fish Whistle topped the wahoo category with a fish that weighed 29.6 pounds. Daymaker, with angler Michael Krivohlavek, caught a 21.4-pound wahoo to take second place. Gusto claimed third place in the wahoo category with its 18.8-pounder.

The marlin were chewing for the fishermen in the Petrel Billfish Division. The crew on Split Bill released two blue marlin for 600 points to take first place.  Syked Out also released two marlin, one blue and one white, for 500 points ans second place. Jabez took third with 300 points for a blue marlin release.

A gamefish release division rewarded fishermen for tagging and releasing dolphin and wahoo. Petrel won the division, with Summer Girl second.
